The two large anchors bore witness to the efforts to which the crew of El Buen Consejo went to save their ship,
trying to slow the progress of the vessel onto the reef. One anchor now lies flat on the bottom,
suggesting that it did not catch.
One large fluke of the second anchor is embedded in the coral reef frame, indicating the anchor caught, although it
may have been too late to save the ship from it's fate.
