Archaeological Investigation of a Landing Craft Vehicle Personnel (LCVP)
In the after part of the vessel the motor mount was comprised of a set of supporting timbers rabetted with a slant down and aft.
A beveled hole in the longitudinal keelson-like stringer at the same angle allowed the propeller shaft to pass through the hull.
The frames were attached to the stringers with through bolts of galvanized metal with threads and nuts.
